DBE Software is committed to providing its users with a sound Internet privacy policy.

DBE Software collects information from its users with the sole purpose of improving the users experience and the quality of our web site.

Google Analytics

Google Analytics does not collect any Personally Identifiable Information (PII) such as names, addresses, telephones, or credit card numbers. The only information collected is Non-Personally Identifiable Information (non-PII).

Google Analytics cookies only collect standard internet log data and visitor behavior in an anonymous form. The logs include standard information such as IP addresses, time and date stamp, browser type, and operating system. The IP addresses are only stored until processing has determined the geo-location of a visit, and then they are discarded. The behavior information includes generic surfing information, such as the number of pages viewed, language setting, screen resolution, etc.

User Accounts

When an order is placed online, a user account is automatically created for the customer. This involves storing an unencrypted information profile on DBE Software's servers, including but not limited to the customer's name, email address, order history, and physical address. This is to facilitate support and streamline future transactions.

This information will only be accessible to DBE Software employees and dbesoftware.com website administrators. Portions of this information is sent to Authorize.net during the payment process, but this information will otherwise not be shared with third parties.

Online Payments

Credit card processing is handled by Authorize.net. Information stored on Authorize.net's servers is subject to the company's privacy policy.

Credit card information is not stored by DBE Software, it is passed securely to Authorize.net under SSL encryption for validation and processing. For purposes of recurring billing, this information is stored by Authorize.net in accordance with their policies and in compliance with the PCI data security standards.
